Lydia turns two!

We celebrated Lydia Grace's second birthday today.

I can hardly believe that it has been two years since she arrived.

The day was fairly low-key in many ways. A few small presents (that will fit in the bags to come home!) and a couple of outings together doing things she enjoys.

This morning I took the four kids to one of our favourite local attractions, Wimpole Hall, which also has a working farm as part of the property.

Then we walked to Grantchester in the afternoon (after Dave had arrived home) and had 'tea' in The Orchard.

Then cake - a Victoria Sponge. My attempt to be British!

Happy Birtday Lydia! We can hardly believe it's been two years either, but what fun and joy you've added to your family and friends! So looking forward to seeing how you've grown when you return to Oz. Love from all of us.

Wow - she could be Elsie in that top picture! Is it a map she is scrutinising? Happy birthday Lydia, we look forward to seeing you soon. x
