There is a series of meadows just down our road called Grantchester Meadows which we often walk across - mainly just for fun! At the end, it meets the little village of Grantchester. We recently walked over the meadows with my parents (currently visiting) and stopped at the Orchard Tea Garden - where the 'Grantchester group' including Rupert Brooke, E.M. Forster and Virginia Woolf would sit and have tea together in the early 20th century. We sat in the deck chairs and had tea and scones and clotted cream and jam and pink lemonade. Then we made daisy chains!

with our daisy chains!
