Today we fly out for our six months in England. The last couple of
weeks have been very busy. Turns out preparing to relocate a family of
six to the other side of the world is quite a big job!
But
now the house is clean and ready for our tenants to move in. The bags
are packed (pictured - there's a lot of them!) and we're ready to go.
I'm feeling relieved that the packing part of things is over. I'm also feeling
excited and a little scared (mostly about the flight at the moment - the
idea of flying that far with an 18 month old isn't thrilling me, as much as I adore her).
I'll
do another post once we arrive and have an internet connection. I am
hoping to post more regularly once we have settled in a little - I have been a little distracted lately as you can probably tell. In the meantime, goodbye Sydney!

Ooh, how exciting! Where are you going? I'm in lovely Sheffield - you're welcome for tea and a play anytime or a housesit. Seriously! x
We are going to be in Cambridge. We may be visiting Sheffield at some stage though... maybe we could have that cup of tea then?
How exciting! Best wishes and God bless you all as you set off and settle in to your new temporary home.
Farewell. Praying for safe travels and a quiet (!) flight with the kids.
And we're in Nottingham, partway to Sheffield from cambridge. Safe travels.....will be praying for you all.
If you are planning to make a trip to the mainland, you are welcome to visit us in Slovenia too...
Hope your flight went well and you are settling in! I moved house the same day as you flew out :-)
I LOVE Cambridge, have been there once in summer and once in winter and it is gorgeous. Please post pictures when you are able! All the best for the coming busyness, will pray for you all!
Hi Nicole
A very warm welcome to a very cold UK. Hope the cold isn't too much of a shock after the heat in Sydney and your family are able to enjoy the snow.
Hope you and your family find a welcoming church home and enjoy your time here.
Linda (One of your UK readers)
