It continues to be cold in Cambridge. Very cold. Today it didn't get above zero. Even the locals are commenting on how cold it is.
We've mainly been enjoying the beauty and fun that the snow brings
with it, although I have to admit that since Dave started at work, I'm
beginning to see some of the difficulties that come with the snow. For
one thing, with four children at home, we really need to get out, but
getting out is tricky. We spend ages putting lots of layers on, then get
out and then only last a small amount of time before we're desperate to
get inside again.
Yesterday, the snow was especially
thick and I found that even pushing the stroller to the corner shop
through snow and ice was a challenge.
Today, the snow
was more compact and we made it as far as our local park. I'm glad I
took my camera, because it was beautiful. We got to enjoy the white, icy
landscape and spotted lots of interesting animals and birds. The kids
even got a chance to play before we needed to get in out of the cold
again.

How beautiful are your photos!
It looks freezing!! So strange to see you all in a snow-covered landscape after years of Sydney photos :)
The park looks like fantastic fun, and it's great to see you all getting out and acclimatizing...
Love the photo of the ducks in the river. They must be tough.
