I have no idea. I'm guessing it will be on DVD - but I'd love to hear your suggestions! I tend to like arthouse ones that make me cry!!
I tag Stuart, Jess, Sharon, Megan and Prue.

#12. Really? He is a hero I've never felt drawn toward.
What is it about him?
I've done it - some similarities!
And the Professor Bhaer thing (hehehe see my blog name for my husband). I like that he encourages her to be who she is and develop herself, plus is a moral compass for her too.
With the Professor... I liked the way he understood her - there was a real meeting of the minds. And I guess growing up I saw myself as a bit of a Jo March! :)
Megan - loved your choices. I agree completely about Much Ado and Silence of the Lambs (wish I'd thought of them!).
Oh, so cool to know that you are a Christopher Guest fan, too! We saw Prince Caspian this afternoon. It's different from the book, but still very good.
I enjoyed reading this!
I cried in Life is Beautiful as well. Then I dragged my Mum to see it the next day (it was almost finished at the cinema) and told her it was the best movie I'd ever seen... which wasn't one of the categories in this list, I notice. Anyway, I've almost done my list. Hope it gives you some ideas.

Try Bella. Very good.
I'm a big Christopher Guest / Best in Show / Mighty Wind fan!
So it was with delight that on Monday I had lunch on the table next to Michael McKean just last Monday at Union Square.
Nice.
Okay, I'm officially jealous!
Thanks for the tag, Nicole. I've finally done it! Perhaps fittingly, we were at the Festival de Cannes when you posted this :)

P.S. Here are some above-average or well-above-average artsy-end films that have made me cry more than a little, most (or all) of which I think should be readily available in Australia on DVD. I was tempted to make it a list of 'under-promoted must-sees', but I stuck in the bounds of weepies:
Pan's Labyrinth, I am Sam, The Algerian War (La Guerre d'AlgĂ©rie — 1972), Iris, Grace is Gone, Persepolis, Four Minutes, Rabbit Proof Fence, The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, Julia, It's a Free World, Garage, Into the Wild, 21 Grams, Man on the Moon, Million Dollar Baby, Mystic River, Dead Man, This is England.
Ugh, lemme add 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' :)
