Desiring God is having a book sale! All books will be $5 next Wednesday and Thursday (June 27-28) at Desiring God online bookstore (which means from Wednesday afternoon for those of us in Australia). Some suggestions of what to get:
If you haven't read them yet, three classics by John Piper are: Desiring God, Future Grace and The Pleasures of God.
At the moment I am reading What Jesus Demands of the World and can thoroughly recommend it.
And I will be buying Noel Piper's latest book (which a friend has recommended to me) which is called Faithful Women and their Extraordinary God. If you haven't read her other book called Treasuring God in our Traditions - then this is a good chance to buy it. You can read why I love this book here.
Again, for my Australian readers (which is over 90% of you) some of these books are hard to find in bookshops here, and with the exchange rate so good at the moment, it really is worth grabbing this chance to stock up on some great Christian books.
